Terms and conditions
Last updated: 12 October 2026
This text faithfully describes how the service works, but is no substitute for legal review before being used with real customers.
1. Who we are and what we do
ritmo is a technology provider. We provide software that lets a business create plans, charge its customers and manage sessions, using the business's own payment account.
We are not a party to the commercial relationship between the Business and its end customers. The Business is the registered seller of everything it sells.
2. Payments
Payments are processed by Stripe Payments Europe, Ltd., through direct charges on the Business's connected Stripe account. We never hold, carry or intermediate the funds.
We charge no commission on processed payments. We take no application fee. Stripe's fees are owed by the Business directly to Stripe.
3. Price of the service
Access to the service is paid by annual fee, in the tier matching the Business's number of active members. The trial period is 30 days and requires no payment method.
4. Tax and invoicing obligations
The Business is solely responsible for complying with its tax and invoicing obligations. The platform does not issue invoices or other tax documents.
5. Liability for disputes and negative balances
As charges are direct on the Business's account, responsibility for fraud, payment disputes and negative balances lies with the Business, under its contract with Stripe.
6. Data protection
With regard to end customers' data, the Business is the controller and ritmo acts as processor. See the privacy policy.
7. Termination
The Business may revoke access to its Stripe account at any time, from the Stripe dashboard, without needing to contact us. The payment account, the history and the relationship with Stripe are, and remain, the Business's.
8. Complaints
The electronic complaints book (Portugal) is available. Direct contact: info@bookpyng.com.
